About the Event
West Virginia Day celebrates the state's 1863 admission to the Union as a result of the secession of several northwestern counties of Virginia during the American Civil War. They’re our neighbors to the west, and they’ve done a lot for apples so we’ve got a cider to honor West Virginia!
WEDNESDAY JUNE 21, 4-11pm
STAY GOLD We’re launching our WV Tribute cider, Stay Gold, a golden apple cider. Golden Delicious is the state fruit of West Virginia, and this cider is packed full of golden apples related to the Golden Delicious. This cider is bright & so full of fresh apple taste.
LONG LIGHT RETURNS -Made from a blend of Gold Rush & Granny Smith apples & fortified with Dry River Reserve apple brandy, Long Light is the quintessential summer dessert cider.
-Fragrant notes of green & golden apples marry beautifully with the natural sugars & apple brandy to create a strong, sweet, & delicate cider. The appearance is reminiscent of a sun-washed summer afternoon with its light color & subtle haze.
PEPPERONI ROLLS -Come enjoy this special West Virginia treat in our taproom on Wednesday only!
BLUEGRASS -Cousin Jimmy's String Band, 5pm -Bring your instrument & join in on a Bluegrass Jam 6:30-8pm!
