About the Event
Learn how to create dynamic artworks on paper using watercolor and images from magazines. Local artist Laura Thompson of Real Creative Studio will teach you watercolor painting techniques, how to find and cut out the “right” kind of collage pieces, the elements & principles of art and ways to create successful compositions, all while sipping on a beverage of your choice!
Bring a pair of scissors and an X-acto knife if you have one. All other materials will be provided.
Student will need to bring:
- A pair of sharp scissors
- An X-acto knife
Provided materials:
- Watercolor paint and brushes
- Cutting mats
- Glue Sticks
- Watercolor paper
- Magazines
Ticket price includes all supplies for painting and 1 beverage (draft cider, Rocktown Light, or hot mulled cider). Nonalcoholic options available.
