Reserve Tasting with the Cidermaker

Sage Bird opened to be a place to build community, come together, and enjoy hand-crafted ciders. We had no clue what to expect when we opened our doors August 2020 in the middle of the Covid-19 Pandemic, but we had been working toward opening for two years prior. The unknowns & fears became even greater as the Pandemic swooped in.

We have been amazed at how the Harrisonburg community has supported us this past year. We have over doubled our expected cider production, and our early cider releases kicked very quickly. Thankfully, we saved a few cases for this very occasion.

Sunday, August 29, join our Cidermaker, Zach, in an exclusive tasting of ciders from the Sage Bird Reserves and hear a little about our history, history of cider & the apples used in our ciders, and learn about the production of our cider. You'll get to try 9 ciders and some aged cheeses from the Friendly City Food Co-Op.
