About the Event
Join Mayor Deanna Reed and Councilman Chris Jones as they host the 3rd Annual Downtown Harrisonburg Juneteenth Celebration!
Everyone is welcome Sunday, June 18 from 3 – 8 p.m.
Master of Ceremonies, A.D. Gabriel Driver will be there as well as a number of musical acts:
Marion Foster & Friends Jazz Trio, Funk Soul Disciples and DJ GoldenBoy Dance Party.
Enjoy kids’ activities with Massanutten Regional Library, Four Square, Cornhole, and over 25 artists, vendors and organizations.
There will be a Juneteenth BBQ starting at 4 p.m. until the food runs out. Dinner provided courtesy of Sentara, Magpie Diner, Cosmic Smoke-n-BBQ, and Outskirts Food Truck. Beer, wine, cider and red drinks are available for purchase. No outside alcohol permitted.
Indoor and outdoor seating is available but bring your lawn chairs and your DANCING SHOES!
