About the Event
We are super excited to announce our next group Art Show in the North Wing Gallery at Sage Bird Ciderworks to premier August 4, 2023!
"Greetings from Harrisonburg" is an art show that celebrates the people, places, and perspectives that make Harrisonburg such a special place to live. Artists will share an original piece of art that represents what Harrisonburg what means to them, whether that is a building, a business, a landmark, a feeling, a dish from a restaurant, etc!
ARTIST RECEPTION
-Friday, August 4, 5-8pm -Complimentary charcuterie -Artist Meet & Greet -Postcard reproductions of the gallery go on sale -Audience Favorite voting begins!
FRIENDLY CITY COMPETITION
-Vote Friday at the opening for an Audience Choice winner
-Artist Choice & Juror Choice will be revealed at the opening
-Audience Choice winner announced Wednesday, August 23
POSTCARD FUNDRAISER
-Packs of postcards of the art will be available for purchase at Sage Bird Ciderworks
-A portion of proceeds will go to support NewBridges, a local nonprofit that serves individuals and families immigrating to our Harrisonburg community
