Blacks Run Clean Up Day

JOIN OUR SAGE BIRD TEAM

-Help us clean up the downtown we love by joining us for Blacks Run Clean Up Day on April 15! We're building a team to clean up the portion of Blacks Run from Sage Bird to Beyond in downtown Harrisonburg.

DAY OF EVENT DETAILS

Beginning at 9:00am

-Gather at Sage Bird and we will walk to the Green Scene, the grassy lot beside Turner Pavilion, to gather our Clean-up Day materials and enjoy visiting booths with environmental experts from around the area.

-We will be given a Green Scene Passport upon arrival. Check off all Green Scene Passport locations (you can do this anytime before 11:00am) and enter your Passport in a Raffle for a prize! The Green Scene Passport winner will be announced at the Pizza Party at lunchtime.

9:30am-11:00am Clean Up

The prizes don't stop there! After visiting the Green Scene, we will journey to our cleanup location.

-During our cleanup, we can participate in a Social Media Photo Contest! There will be a prize for individuals who photograph the following:

11:30am Lunch

After we have completed our cleanup, we can join up back at the Green Scene at Turner Pavilion for the lunchtime Pizza Party.

-All registered participants will receive free pizza!
